The Helen Muise Community Service Award is an annual award given to recognize volunteers who exemplify the spirit of community through their service at The Open Door and in its programs. The purpose of this award is to honor a volunteer(s) who has provided excellent service to the organization and its clients.
To be considered, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- The nominee must have contributed at least 40 volunteer hours within the last 12 months.
- The nominee, if chosen, will use the award to according to the guidelines provided.
- The nominee must currently volunteer for any of The Open Door’s programs.
Please note: volunteers serving in the capacity of board members and those currently serving court-ordered hours are not eligible.
