The Open Door Gloucester Food Pantry offers weekly custom grocery orders. Quick-Trip, 3-5 day supplies of groceries are also available for those with or without a kitchen who need food as soon as possible.

Who can go to the Gloucester Food Pantry?

We serve 11 cities and towns: Gloucester, Rockport, Ipswich, Essex, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Hamilton, Wenham, Boxford, Topsfield, Rowley, and Georgetown. You must also comply with current TEFAP Income Guidelines to qualify for our food services.

We also have a food pantry in Ipswich, the Ipswich Community Food Pantry, open W-TH from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What if I need groceries right now and cannot wait for my application to be processed?

No problem. Come to the Gloucester Food Pantry M-F from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a “Quick Trip” 3-5 day supply of groceries while you wait. While you’re here, take home a meal to-go or join us for dinner in our dining room from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.!

How can I access the refrigerated food lockers?

Apply here for our refrigerated food locker program! Our refrigerated food lockers allow shoppers to pick-up groceries 24/7 and are a perfect option for folks who cannot get to us during our business hours.
